mouse pointer invisible on windows7 - no black frame around it

Hi folks,

i hope you guys have an idea about my problem. After using rdesktop
to access my win7 terminal server, the mouse pointer is only white.
Usually it its white with a black frame. in my case it's only white
so invisible on white background.

I tried all possible pointers and schemas on win7 - mouse pointer
stays white. Only if i move over to windows aero mouse pointer it
gets displayed correctly. Unfortunately windows aero pointer is not
an option as it adds mouse pointer trails.

Any ideas about that? I'm using the latest stable version.
I would be happy to get some hints from you.
