I think you mean that you are running Samba as an AD domain member.
I would however suggest you upgrade to Samba from backports, that will
get you Samba 4.24.5

I think you are stuck with installing the printers manually, I do not
think printer discovery works across vlans. I also think you need to
check that all required ports are open in your pfsense firewall.
