: I have the latest silc toolkit code (1.1.8) and am building in VS : 2005. When I build in Release mode, it connects and runs fine. When I : build in debug mode (defining SILC_DEBUG), the server disconnects me : during the key exchange with the error message "Error Incorrect : signature (9) received during key exchange". I am using the exact same : server (Ubuntu, 1.1.14) and settings on each attempt. How is the : signature calculated? What tests can I do to figure out what is going wrong? : For starters, output the SKE debugs by setting *ske* debug string with silc_log_set_debug_string and call also silc_log_debug_hexdump. Give the same debug string with -d to silcd.
