I am trying to use GAIM 1.1.4 to connect my SILC server on RH 9. I get a \"error receiving packet from connection, peer reset connection\" error\" 

I do not have to install the SILC toolkit since GAIM 1.1.4 says it is not needed for Windows. Correct?

I appreciate any help. Thank you.
