Unfortunately, it seems that SILC is moving towards abandonware
status :-(

It's very unfortunate the the IETF decided to pick the XML-based Jabber
protocol over SILC, as that seemed to have removed a lot of the
incentive for the authors to keep working on SILC...

I'd love to be proven wrong though :-)
