: : Is there any way to make a channel permanent such that it survives : restarting the server? : If you are running a router, then you may connect a backup router to it. If the primary router goes down the network state, and hence channel state, is preserved in the backup. When primary reconnects it resumes its position. If you are running a standalone router without backup, then there is no way to preserve it reliably.
