How do I get subject lines aligned vertically in group view?

How do I get the subject lines et al aligned vertically in the
group view screen?  Here's what slrn looks like:

It's sort of annoying.

I've searched the slrn reference manual for some way to control
the format of that page, but can't find anything. Since the
configuration variables are organized alphabetically, there
isn't really any way to find what you're looking for unless you
already know the name.  I tried searching for "format" and
various other keywords, but that didn't yield anything useful.
