I have no objection to including such useful macros in the slrn distribution, but I'd rather they remained optional extras rather than being rewritten as part of the C source. Extra features are good if they're the features one wants: otherwise they just slow slrn down. Does anybody have further suggestions for useful macros that could be made "official"? I'll start with Emanuele Bassi's identity.sl: <http://www.emmanuelebassi.net/slrn/identity.sl> I use it to set my signature. In some groups, a link to my web page is relevant, in others it isn't. -- PJR :-) ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Splunk Inc.
