What about splitting slrn into slrn and slrnpull? Personally I don't see
that big need for slrnpull as there are plenty of good alternatives out
there (leafnode, sn, hamster, ...) and I suppose only a small minority
of all slrn users is really using slrnpull (I did never use it). If
slrnpull is the only reason for not releasing the next stable version of
slrn that doesn't sound good for me.

That are all very good ideas, especially discarding that special .slrnrc
format. I never liked it to have two separate formats to remember. All
should be plain slang even if some people may cry now because something
is getting to change in their life :-)

I did so but there are simply no bugs to report :-)
