1) At compiling pre-50:
interp.c: In function `load_startup_file':
interp.c:1636: error: `SLRN_SLANG_DIR' undeclared (first use in this function)

I tried to declare it in makefile and slrnfeat.h, but it didn't worked.
This change means that paths will be hardcoded into binary? As under
windows there is no standard layout of catalogues (like /etc /bin
/usr), and people rather use binaries compiled by someone else, it could
produce a lot of difficulties to them. 

2) Listening to advice of Thomas Wiegner I tested again how slrn works in
non-utf mode, and it looks that libiconv conversion *is working*! In CP1250 and
ISO-8859-2 modes everything looks as it should.
