In Makefile.g32, change:

  startup_C_CFLAGS = -DSLRN_SLANG_DIR='"$(SLRN_SLANG_DIR)"'

to

  interp_C_CFLAGS = -DSLRN_SLANG_DIR='"$(SLRN_SLANG_DIR)"'
