Thanks for asking. Personally, I'd welcome a low priority background task which would check whether there where followups to my postings - anywhere, before entering a group.

Currently, I have a filter that scores postings which include my user-id within the references, which is part of my message-ids. Thus one solution would be to check all subscribed groups for new postings and apply the filters.

Another one might be to log own postings (by date such as last seven days or count such as 100) and check these groups/postings for follow-ups.

It's one of the tasks that may slow down slrn significantly - but it would be a very helpful improvement.
