I compiled slrn with this library:

Connected to host.  Posting ok.
Checking news ...
CodePage = 65001

It shows unicode pretty good - as good as font allows it [1] but have
problem with posts with declared ISO-8859-2:

[1] I installed finally second font, consolas. Lucida Console shows unicode
better.
