I also agree, if someone has cygwin installed, one should use a cygwin
build, it compiles in cygwin as easy as in Unix/Linux.

It's really a drawback, that the native version has to be run inside
a windows console and does not run in a cygwin Xterm or a Msys-rxvt.
Hey John, perhaps a feature for upcoming slang versions?

Of course it is a little bit overkill, to install cygwin if you just
want to run slrn in windwos.
