Yes.

I'm pleased that I guessed correctly that "goto free_and_return;" was part of 
the solution.

My first language was BASIC on the Sinclair QL. I later rewrote my programs 
for Microsoft QBasic. I'm slowly working my way through _C Primer Plus_, and 
the slrn code is slowly beginning to make sense, but I have a long way to go.
