All the sourceforge mailing lists use mailman. An autoresponder and other 
standard mailman features are available.

That doesn't seem to be an option.

I'm the admin of the moribund slrn-doc mailing list, so I'm familiar with 
sourceforge's quirks. I'll be happy to help with the slrn-user and 
slrn-announce lists if I can be useful. It's possible for the lists to have 
more than one moderator.
