well.. is sourceforge that bad for you?  i am sure
some of you have gotten used to it by now.  maybe
sourceforge wants to open additional service for git?
besides, we were hosted there for eight years now.

is it only the repository which has to change?
please... let's talk about the necessities first!

as for control over slrn.org - sure,
we can change everything so everyone can
maintain the part the really care for.

all i ask is a good plan for transition -
and people who openly communicate their
responsibility within the community
as well as being ready to hand on their
job to other when they are overworked
or bored to death with the project. ;)

personally, i still wish to see slrn 1.0
in my lifetime - and maybe slrn 2.0
before web 2.0 is officially dead.
