I think this is a good idea. BTW, this configuration variable is mentioned in the sample slrn.rc which slrn ships. But it should better be moved from section 3 (Which external programs do you want to use?) to 1 (Tell slrn about your identity). The question is, if it might perhaps be a better idea to set this option to 1 by default.
