slrn 1.0.0? (was: MIME support)

I can think of no reason not to release the current code as 1.0.0 
*today*. Probably 1.0.1, 1.0.2 etc will be needed once more widespread 
adoption causes new bugs to be discovered, but so what? It's a fact of 
life that not all bugs can be discovered by alpha/beta/0.9.9.99 testers.

Is the slrn-doc project still useful in principle? If so, I'd like to 
find somebody to take over from me as project admin, since I'm frankly 
no longer interested enough to do the job adequately.
