That may be.  The current version (2.3.2) was released in 2018, and
the next release (2.3.3) will occur this year.

slrn itself includes a set of macros (nn.sl) that attempt to
facilitate this.  Others may have extended these.

I rarely read Usenet anymore.  As such, I am not adding any new
features to it.  But I will integrate patches that are sent to me.

I have received no messages from the list since then.  Perhaps I was

The slang-devel and slang-interp lists rarely get messages.  Most
questions involving the interpreter take place in application specific
lists, e.g., the ISIS mailing list that pertains to the isis X-ray
spectral analysis program.

The problem is that fewer and fewer people are using Usenet.

Since 2013, I have been working at the Harvard-Smithsonian
Astrophysical Observatory on the TEMPO <http://tempo.si.edu> and MethaneSAT
<https://www.methanesat.org/> projects.  The source code has moved to
<https://www.jedsoft.org/releases/>.
