snmail does not post :-(

Hi,

I just installed sn-0.3.5, just for the purpose of posting via a mail
address. However, it did not wprk out via a .qmail file, so we tested
it manually by echoing a mail manually:

So, the exit code is 0. Looks fine. But the message never appears
in the group cau.test. Our server is news.informatik.uni-kiel.de.
I created the group with "snnewgroup cau.test news.informatik.uni-kiel.de".
Here's what the spool dir looks like:

So the message appears in the .outgoing directory, and I get no
error message etc.
But why does the message not appear in the real news group? I tested
that I can post from exactly the same host into this newsgroup.
What could wrong? How could I get debug messages?
