Well. Normally it's just snntpd that writes stuff to the fifo, so this may
be a case of "never thought of that".

So you are online all the time, and want posts to go out as soon as they
are posted? Then why not just read the group from the upstream server and post
articles there, if you are in such a hurry that you can't wait for a
cronjob to run snget. :)
