RSS feed for only one item

Dear All:

Im working on more powerfull RSS support for Tikiwiki
(http://www.tikiwiki.org a CMS).

I think it can be nice to offer RSS metadata for each individual
content item (an article, a blog post, a wiki page, etc), apart from
the big feeds (all the articles, all blog posts, etc).

Is this correct? And more important: does it makes sense?

Im not sure how to implement this: a channel with only one item (in
this approach, I end with duplicate data because, for example,
channel's title is the same as the item title). Should I use a channel
with no items (this is, the element 'items', empty)?

Also: what's the correct way to link a RSS feed to it's HTML version?

Thanks in advance
