SMIL and SAMI are two existing formats. SMIL is a "standard" format originated by Real but since then released as a W3C recommendation: Lots of links to DTDs, presentations, and background: http://smw.internet.com/smil/docs/ http://www.w3.org/TR/1998/REC-smil-19980615/ Microsoft's Synchronized Accessible Media Interchange (SAMI) a SMIL-like format with some interesting capabilities and uses. http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/dnacc/html/atg_samiarticle.asp --- Danny Ayers <[email protected]> wrote: > Anyone happen to know of any existing, fairly simple > vocabularies/languages/formats for annotating media > data?
