RSS 1.0 module for exchanging UK HE funding opportunities information

Hi everyone,

The UK Higher Education Academy consists of 24 subject centres whose
role is to facilitate best practice in teaching and learning within
the Higher Education sector in the UK.

Many subject centres gather and publish information about funding
opportunities and publish these lists on their websites. Many of us
also use RSS as a means of disseminating this information.

A while ago it occured to a few of us that we could do with an RSS 1.0
extension module to properly describe this information rather than
shoehorn it into standard RSS 1.0 with DC, as this was less than
appropriate.

I have recently revised the original module proposal that I came up
with, as I was advised the RDF XML syntax I had used was outdated.

I have come up with a new version and attempted to come up with an
RDFS definition for it. This is my first crack at using RDFS and OWL
for such things however and I've struggled somewhat.

Any constructive criticism from anyone who actually knows what they're
doing with this stuff would be most welcome.
