Bill, when I write a software that crafts RSS feeds, I'd like it to comply
with RSS specs. Instead I have to tweak this software against rssvalidator.
The most beautiful thing is that validator links to the same specs I use,
but checks actually in its own way.

I don't have samples nearby, so will try to recall. The first thing is email
address in channel and item properties -- try to put there ONLY email
address (spec doesn't say a word about the format of these elements, but
states the email should be there -- hey, even <author> sample shows only
email!, -- so only email in there should be valid). Next issue. Try to
validate the feed that complies with "All elements of an item are optional,
however at least one of title or description must be present" spec.

These two I recalled from scratch, but I suppose there were some more.
