Hi, my second question about mass subscription.
I'd like to know which are the standard approaches at discovering and
indexing a significant number of feeds. I've got currently a very basic
setup that parses a RSS 1.0 "recent updates" feed from a ping site, stores
the new items in a site_queue table and then runs though the queue triying
to autodiscover the feeds for those sites.
Apart from scaling this solution up with more queried ping sites, more
frequency, more hardware, etc. What other solutions are commonly used?
Ideas or pointers to articles/posts on this subject would be greatly
appreciated, as my googling has miserably failed.
Thanks in advance.
