Can you send me a link to some feeds that aren't predictable (either off-list or on-list)? The detection code in both versions of IE is 100% identical, but I'd like to see if I can track it down.

Please send me feedback if there are changes you'd like to see made (personally, I'd think the Atom sniffing algorithm is a bit too loose, but that's separate from this discussion).

The sad thing is IE itself doesn't fail predictably for me. Some feeds will
work fine in IE on Vista, but fail on my XP box. Maybe it's just my computer
that's screwed, but either way I think it's best to try and avoid the
browsers' sniffing code if at all possible.
