Here's a specific example of a SHOULD that I don't see the Feed
Validator implementing in the near future:

   http://www.rssboard.org/rss-profile#element-channel-docs

Note: I realize that that particular sentence is prefaced with the word
"if"; but my point is that the process of deciding which SHOULDs merit
warnings is not a mechanical process. Those for which interoperability
data has been gathered and is cited by the profile itself merit priority.

One additional note, if/when a profile goes final, I plan to update the
links in messages to point to a specific version of the profile. This
will enable subsequent evolution. As it is the nature of best practices
to change (hopefully slowly) over time, it may come to pass that certain
recommendations are obsoleted in favor of later, approved, versions of
the profile. It is my hope to track to the latest changes.
