I'm stuck with "Authentication reasons: No password configured for VNC
Auth" from the viewer when trying to hook up to a remote server.

In both client and server, Tight VNC seemed to install OK. I've set
passwords everywhere I can find in the service configuration, but I can get
past that error.

How do I get around it?

I'm sure this has been dealt with before, but I don't know how to search
the list history.
