Switching to full screen simply disappeared the viewer, including the
window button on the desktop panel. 'ps' showed it was now on pty/8, but
I couldn't find any way to access pty/8. Ctrl-Shift-F8 gave me a blank
screen with a blinking cursor. C-S-F7 gave me my normal desktop back. I
ended up killing that process and restarting it.

Any other suggestions?
