Closing the TightVNC Viewer without moving the mouse pointer

I use TightVNC Viewer to view the screen and operate the mouse pointer 
of a remote PC alsoinuse 24 hours by a number of other TightVNC Viewer 
users for live audio broadcasting. Is there a way (such as a keyboard 
shortcut) that I can close my session leaving the mouse pointer of the 
remote machine in a neutral screen position?

Otherwise, the mouse pointer ends up in the top right-hand corner of the 
remote screen as my tracking-circle pointer approaches the viewer's own 
close window button, leaving the remote pointer dangerously close to the 
close button of the running program for other userson the remote machine.
