I had to install autocutsel on my Ubuntu Mate 20.04 remote. I am accessing from a CentOS 7 workstation but this might help: https://askubuntu.com/questions/41273/how-to-copy-paste-text-from-remote-system Ken I don't have a Swiss bank account but I do have a Swiss email address :-) Sent with [ProtonMail](https://protonmail.com) Secure Email. ‐‐‐‐‐‐‐ Original Message ‐‐‐‐‐‐‐ On Thursday, December 17, 2020 12:52 PM, John Pfuntner <[email protected]> wrote: > I installed tightvncserver on Ubuntu 20.04 (tightvncserver/focal,now 1.3.10-0ubuntu5 amd64) and am connecting from Windows using TightVNC viewer 2.8.55 and have a couple of issues: > > - If I maximize my viewer window, the Ubuntu desktop doesn't maximize with the window - its size remains the same and there's a large border around it. I can zoom in or use "scale: auto" but that's not really what I want. If I select text, right-click, and select Copy, the text is not available in the clipboard. Not only is the Paste menu option under the right-click pop-up disabled but the text is not present in a regular Windows app such as Notepad either. > > Can anyone suggest solutions? ___________________________________________________________ TightVNC mailing list, [email protected] To change your subscription or to UNSUBSCRIBE, please visit https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/vnc-tight-list
