I'm on Xubuntu 20.04 running both tightvnc 1.3.10 and ssvnc 1.0.29-5. The problem happens on both viewers. I have a number of Window 10 system that I access with VNC and it has been working well for years. I just got a new Dell machine with a Nvidia GTX 1660Ti graphics card. Everything looks great over VNC until certain special cursors are displayed. Then the cursor seen through VNC turns to a "box of lines" and trails are left on the VNC screen. See a couple of examples in the image I places here: http://smallthoughts.com/photos/misc/vncviewer_01.jpg The standard system cursor is no trouble and typically works fine in application menu areas, but special cursors in Word, or cursors to adjust column width left-right as seen in the SyncBack example fall apart as shown. I'm guessing this might be related to some video acceleration that the Nvidia card may be performing, but I'm not sure. Is this a known problem and is there a workaround? Thanks. -- Jeffery Small ___________________________________________________________ TightVNC mailing list, [email protected] To change your subscription or to UNSUBSCRIBE, please visit https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/vnc-tight-list
