Window size limits

Good morning,

I am using tightvnc on Slackware to connect with a pair of Raspberry 
Pi's running x11vnc. Everything is working well, except for one minor 
irritation.

The HDMI displays on the Pi's are both 1360x768 pixels. The VGA flat 
panel display on the Slackware box is 1280x1024. Tightvnc will not allow 
me to increase the viewer window height far enough to eliminate the 
vertical scroll bar. Dragging the top or bottom edge and resize both 
stop expanding just a few pixels short of the full image height.

What am I missing?
