IMHO it is, but that's not a discussion which belongs to this
mailinglist (and if we're going to change the mailinglist software we
will switch from majordomo to mailman, but I doubt that we weill add
subject munging).

there is a blank-line between the 3-header lines and the article (and
you could colour the headers in a different colour (i.e. green on
black vs. grey on black (but I don't use colour)).

the default 3 top-lines can't be hindden, _additional_ headers can be
shown or hidden on the fist page via news_headers_to{_not}_display

if you use a non color-terminal (entry) of course you can't use
colors.

just set everything except the headers to one colour and the headers
to another - or turn colour off (that's what I do - colour sucks. and
yes, I only waer black clothes)

missing unicode-support, missing charset conversation, no
internationalization, minimal mime support, lots of possible
bufferoverruns, no gpg support, no key-remapping, no URL-handling,
no sorting on score, MH-list feature broken, ...
