how do you postprocess the files tin write if tin dies before post-processing stage?

Hello - 

I hope this is the right place to  send this note.

Sometimes tin dies during download of files - is there
an
easy way to tell it to examine the directory where the
temp files have been saved and to process them upon
restart instead of connecting to the news server ?

example:

I go to newsgroup and have it download 3 programs -
and have it save to a file call tmpx. It writes 50
files tmpx.001 to tmpx.039 - while the last program is
incomplete is there an easy way to have it process
those files so the first two don't have to be
downloaded again ?
