This is from memory as my TIN session is busy at the moment and I can't 
try this to double check it.  I'm sorry if I mis-remember this.

With one of the messages you want to kill highlighted, hit ^k which will 
bring up the kill "menu".  It's a data entry screen, not a menu, but 
anyway...

Hit enter twice to skip the first two entry fields, or add a comment to 
the comment field if you prefer.  Following those two fields are three 
yes/no fields listing the subject, author, and message id.  The subject 
defaults to yes, the other two default to no.  Type an n beside the 
subject field and a y beside the author field.  Hit enter to skip through 
the rest of the fields until you get the message on the status line saying 
TIN is filtering.  Once it's through filtering, you should be returned to 
your article list with all the messages from the author you choose killed.
