I fixed it. I had kf'ed someone's name in the subject line (there must
have been a flame war or something, with her name in the subject line -
I don't kf posts from her in general). I guess the last time I tried
using ping in the subject I happened to be pinging the same person, so
that got kf'ed too.

I have so much stuff in my killfile that I had to do a binary search on
the entries, commenting and uncommenting rules until I narrowed it down
to the offending one.

Problem solved! :)
