compiling tux on 2.4.17

Hello

I am trying to compile TUX as a module in 2.4.17.  If I compile the
kernel and specify that TUX is to be compiled into the kernel,
everything
seems to go O.K.

If I try to compile TUX as a module, it doesn't appear to be built.  I
looked in linux/net/tux for a tux.o file, but none exists.  I tried to
do a find tux.o from the top level of the source tree, but could not
find it.

I assume I am doing something wrong here, but don't know what.
