you do. It's not easy to determine with redhat's kernels, but i can assure you (read the kernel package changelod) that tux was last updated in redhat kernel november 2001. Since then development progressed. It's not easy to do that though, since redhat's kernel source is not vanilla kernel, it already has lot's of patches applied. i would advise you to use a plain kernel from kernel.org for an up2date tux machine.
