Brian,

why are you running something that takes more than 5 minutes every 5
minutes?

Remove all of the config switches and put in one after the other and see
what that does.

Given the many boxes I have, I run this via the GUI manually and have a
sophisticated shell script which looks on which of my boxes it is
running and uses specific switches accordingly, but is also run
manually, ie whenever I am done for the day (even though I am now
retired and the practice stuff sits on my WLAN at home and doesn't
really need much synching any more). My common.prf has 1182
lines :-)-O.
