You will see properties of a single file by pressing x. You will see
properties of all files by pressing l.

Is any of the sync sides a macOS, perhaps? If so, then you may try adding
rsrc=false in the profile (-rsrc=false on the command line).

The server does not time out. It is something else that is killing your
connection, perhaps ssh settings or a firewall?
