Re: Unison not launching GUI

I have installed ubuntu 24.04 on a DELL 13 PRO PREMIUM

I have a desktop in my office with OpenSuse 15.4 and unison 2.48.15

I am installing everything on the laptop (new) and because the standard 
version of unison provided is more advanced than that one installed on 
my desktop I choose to use the snap packages because they should not 
present any problem with the ocam version.

At the beginning unison 2.51.2 from snap worked. So I started syncing. 
And it worked. Later I updated ubuntu (sudo apt update/upgrade), I do 
not remember what it updated and then unison stopped to work: I launch 
it, the ubuntu icon starts rotating, it goes for some seconds like that 
and then nothing happens and the GUI does not show up like it was doing 
before.

If I install a more recent version unison is not working due to conflict 
with ocam version in the two computers. As far as I understood just the 
snap packages are able to manage this issue. Am I wrong?

Do you have any idea where I can look some log file of what is happening 
to the starting of unison?
