I personally have not used mountpoint. But I just looked it up in the manual, and in unison's manpage. The description seems clear. I suggest that you read the docs and try to do what it says, and then follow up that it either works as intended or a detailed report. I'm pointing you to the docs rather than explaining not to give you a hard time, but because if the docs are not actually clear, then we can see about fixing them -- and me paraphrasing them to you doesn't help us figure that out.
