I have also sync'd both servers clocks with an ntp server and set the hwclock with `hwclock --systohc`. For some reason no matter what value I put as the debuglevel in my current config I still get no verbosity at all in the logfile, just the start/stop messages (you will also notice that I tried to start it when it was already running and I got failed to bind to port messages). I feel like there should be something totally obvious staring me in the face but I have triple checked everything and can't seem to spot any human error. I appreciate any suggestions that any of you may have, I'd really like to get this up and running. thanks, ryan
