Hi List, I have a 7.3 machine. If I update the up2date stuff to the latest version (up2date-2.8.39-1.7.3), then I can no longer connect to the curent server (1.4.1) The error is: Fetching Obsoletes list for channel: redhat-7.3-i386... There was a fatal error communicating with the server. The message was: 404: "Not Found" while attempting to get $RHN/redhat-7.3-i386/getObsoletes/20021016154554 RedHat's website tells us: This release of up2date improves the handling of package dependencies and which packages obsolete others. Many other bug fixes are included as well. It seems that redhat broke backwards compatibility with their new release of up2date. Jacco
