I just noticed this on a 7.3 box as well.  It actually had both
installed, and running up2date -l would show each as being superceded by
the other.  I didn't need them either, so I just uninstalled them.  This
is an old emachines box that has had at least 7.1, 7.2 and 7.3 on it.
