OK, but I want to get it working in 8.1, so I think I want to look at
that issue soon.  Mail me anything you already know about the problems
in that area, for a start.  Will first have to make it work on RH 8.0
myself.

Can the RH 8.1 port be done for 1.5.x only, or is 1.5.x not stable enough?
