Bug in 1.4.3.a patch? (Or did I make a mistake?)

[root@rula etc]# rpm -Uvh --oldpackage ~bnathan/current-0.20021201-1.noarch.rpm 
error: failed dependencies:
        mod_python >= 3.0.1 is needed by current-0.20021201-1
[root@rula etc]# rpm -q mod_python
mod_python-2.7.8-1

This machine is running Red Hat 7.3. It shouldn't really need mod_python
3.0.1, should it? I added --nodeps to the RPM options when upgrading,
and the new version of current seems to be working fine so far.

Did I mess up when building it? (Was I supposed to edit something in the
RPM spec file?) Or did I find a bug?

(I've installed it in the possibly futile hope of fixing a problem I'm
having with a couple of Red Hat 8.0 clients. If it doesn't fix the problem,
I'll probably post again in the next day or two with a bug report.)
